About my 2 Best Friends

Lady

Lady was with us for over 11 years. She loved to go hunting, she even fetched a couple of ducks when she was younger. I think her favorite thing tho' was going fishing. The minute she saw the camper being loaded onto the pickup and the boat get pulled out of storage, she followed me around like a litle puppy. I wouldnt have had a chance of leaving her behind even if I wanted to. She was the first one in the boat and waited for me to shove us off. She liked to stand up in the front of the boat on the front casting platform as we cruised down the lake. As the years wore on she slept alot as I was trolling around waiting for my next bite, but the minute she heard the drag on my reel start squealing, she was right there to see what I had caught this time.

Shadow

Shadow was my first horse and was with me for over 10 years. I got him when he was 12 years old. Even when he was 22, he still looked like he was 12 and acted like the young Polish Arab that he was. He was a 15+hh, flea-bitten grey gelding, with just the right amount of attitude to make him fun to ride. He had the smoothest gaited trot.
